

There is already a package for this so just run: sudo apt-get install xinput-calibrator then I ran: sudo apt-get install libx11-dev libxext-dev libxi-dev x11proto-input-dev I am not sure all this was required.

This is because I wanted to mount the LCD screen from the top - so the LCD is actually upside down, but, in any event you will probably need to calibrate the touchscreen. Am I missing something?
